OK, so I am a sucker for a sale. The Silhouette Store had a sale for their svg files and I went on the hunt for a few new sentiments. This one struck my fancy so I cut it twice in white cs. One was smeared with black gesso for that all too perfect flat black. The bg circles are felted on white cs pp. Strip of check is from stash and the snowflake piece is the clean up paper from when I added gold to the previous project snowflake. I stenciled on more snow dots with the gold stencil butter and added a few plain white die cut snowflakes. Stacked and offset the new sentiment then mounted all on 5×7 white cs base to complete this one. What I loved about this sentiment is that it can be for a thank you or a birthday or thinking about you.
Thanks for sharing your time with me, now I am sharing this with:
Love the way you did the new sentiment – beautiful card!

Thanks Golda, it is hard to narrow purchases down when there are so many to pick from.

Fabulous! Love that sentiment, your combinations of checks , dots and snowflakes. The perfect amount of gold to bring it all to life. Great decision to shop especially when it’s a SALE!

Thanks Gayle, hard to throw scrape pieces away when they look like something I would do on purpose.

Thanks Gerry I was going to just stack them but decided a drop shadow worked too.

Thanks Judy, not sure why I thought of you when I got it but I did. The drop shadow is something I don’t do often but always like the results.

Love this! So much texture and shine. And that greeting is awesome; I didn’t get to the sale in time, but I may have to do some shopping anyway – lol! Love your color combination as well.

Thanks Lisa, it actually had my second attempt of pink stencil butter happy birthday and I did not like it. Plus I really wanted to test drive the new sentiment.
