I had seen a card I wanted to CASE plus one of my favorite challenges wanted stitches. I started with the bg by sponging a couple of colors through a stripe stencil on cream cs. The oval was die cut from a piece of mixed media cs. To create I had added tons of mixed mediums to a cream colored piece of tissue paper that got attached to an piece of white cs. Some of the things I did to the tissue paper were: stamping, smooching, water coloring and splattering. My robin was found at Graphics Fairy and printed on tissue paper that got splattered in white and gold then attached to white cs then fussy cut. Greenery and bow were Silhouette cut. Sentiment strip was stamped then heat set in white. All is mounted on sage green cs.
Thanks for sharing your time with me, now I am sharing this with:
Creative Inspiration: Old or New The tissue paper technique is an oldie but a goodie.
My eyese were drawn immediately to that striped background. Awesome! Your mixed media oval and all other details is definitely you, Bonnie. Love the colors and your stitching looks great too.

Oh thanks so much Gayle. Having the robin image really gave me a jumping off point for colors. ALways love it when I don’t have to decide.

Wow! There is so much going on I had to look again to find the stitching and it’s perfect where it is. Love the striped background. You really made the tissue paper work. The robin is really cute.
