Stardust Butters

This is a single stamp I found HERE that I stamped on white cs in black ink. Used spatula to smear on Champagne Stardust Butter on grasses, Marcasite Stardust Butter on boat and Platinum Stardust Butter for foreground. The water and sky are Denim Stencil Butter that I picked up with paint brush, smeared on glass mat and mixed with water to get a shimmery water color that I painted on. Kept intense blue for water then watered down even more for sky. I did re-stamp the image because it had lost some of its detail and I even added black and white gel pen accents. Matted on white copy paper with a blue marker along edges to color. All was mounted on white cs base. The Stardust Butters are glitter in a cream, spread easily with spatula and finger and clean with water and a paper towel. Thanks to my dear friend who got me these butters as a Christmas gift.

Thanks for sharing your time with me, now I am sharing this with:

    1. Thanks Judy, I do love the butters as they are intended for stencils but these Stardust are more like suspended glitter with just a hint of metallic color. Perfect for playing with.
