Die cut flowers from layered stamps

I had this set of layered stamps for quite some time and have never inked them up. So I decided to scan the silhouette of the images and create die cuts of them in the Silhouette software. Each of these flowers have 4 layers and the leaves have 2 each. Everything was cut from white text vellum paper and colored with markers. The card was suppose to be a tri-fold from the top but I glued the embossed flap part to the base. Not wanting to start over, I just added the whole thing to a white top fold card base. The part the flowers are on is its own flap that I hand cut into a semi-circle then glued the flowers, leaves and white filigree to. This is a kind of love letter to my sister to thank her for all she does for our mom. She lives in Laramie Wyoming so this is really pushing spring for her. I will do this fancy fold correctly in the near future because it is easy and cool.

This is the screen shot of the scanned image with the die cuts I created.

Thanks for sharing your time with me, now I am sharing this with:

  1. You flowers are so detailed and beautiful. You are so very clever with your Silhouette skills. Your sister will love her first hint of spring, I’m sure, especially coming from you.

  2. You have again inspired me; but I also have some layer stamp sets that I have never used because I can’t seem to line them up correctly. I need to go pull them out and use with the next color challenge. Thanks for sharing your beautifu card with us at Color Dare.

  3. Such beautiful flowers, they look like they’re water colour painted not 3D layered flowers. I’m so glad you shared with us at Colour Dare, I hope you can join us again soon.
