This bg was made while experimenting with the de-boss inky resist technique. Except I used shimmer sprays one at a time on glass mat before smooching and used similar colors in ink pads to swipe for highlights. Bear was die cut from a water colored stamped image that was a bust on another project and ran a black sharpie along outer edge. Roses are cut with scalloped scissors and rolled from over-spray of white text vellum paper. I even tried dipping them in homemade fabric stiffener so they would not smash in postage. Leaves are cut on the Silhouette and colored with green marker. I did add thin strips of b&w stripes to create change from colored bg to white embossed piece. The idea for this layout was found at Stamping with Klass. thanks Bonnie. Sentiment is a digi stamp, printed, cut and attached.

Thanks for sharing your time with me, now I am sharing this with:
Oh my gosh, you keep coming up with the most amazing backgrounds. I’m so envious.

THanks Gerry, if you can heat emboss and smooch you can do this?

Another gorgeous bacckgroud and it doesn’t detract from the designs on your bear. Awesome card.

LOVE your rolled roses! Great use of “bust” paper for your bear.

Thanks Lisa, it was a topper that went bad at the last part. The coloring on the focal image was still ok I it got die cut.

This is a great card! What a fun way to do the bear and those fun 3D flowers are a beautiful addition, as well.

Thanks Golda, still not sure the bear was the right add but it was not a throw away either.
