Horseback in the mountains

I had watched this video and was inspired. The bg is copy paper used to mop up oxide spray in yellow and red off of the glass mat. The circle stencil had red ink from previous project so I sprayed it with alcohol and placed ink side down on this piece and pressed. Sponged more of the red ink to create contrast to the yellow. Then I followed the video to sponge the dark gray hills using stencil. Masked the moon and sponged black along skyline. My horse riders are a stencil I made and the color is black ink and a bristle ink dauber (I must say I love these things). Stamped trees in black ink then added black colored pencil under horses then water brush to create shadows and grass. I even used quikie glue pen and gold glitter around the moon. Trimmed to fit white cs base and attached.

  1. Well, I really wasn’t expecting such a mouth dropping background but how you are growing in your making, Bonnie. The colors and swirl effect your achieve is pretty darned cool. Then there are those silhouettes. I’ll have to watch the video. Your inspiration by it made one beautiful piece of art.

  4. Bonnie, this is amazing. I love your gorgeous background! The glitter around the moon is beautiful. Granted, I was thinking sun setting, but that was probably because of the colors.
