I purchased this stamp recently because it was on sale and I liked the spray along with the sentiments. As soon as I got it I scanned the cover sheet (images were true sized). I then add 3 mil offset to be able to cut out the shapes and then stamp. I cut out all the images in layering weight cs and keep those in the sleeve with the stamps. For this shaped card, I used the full spray outline in my Silhouette, hover over object>replicate>mirror left. I then moved one side slightly over the other and welded the two side. Cut that out and cut a full outline, that is what I stamped and colored on. Stamped and heat set in gold then water colored and then attached to cut out that I scored and folded. I did use sentiment outline and stamped in black then attached off the edge to card. Added a few accents in white and black gel pens.

Always Fun: Cards for a Friend
Country View: First Signs of Spring We won’t see any signs of spring for months (Unless you count that the horses are starting to shed?), so this spray feels like spring.
Great idea to use this large image as the card shape; looks amazing! The gold embossing is gorgeous as is your water coloring. Beautiful card!!

Thanks Lisa, It has been fun to always have cutouts for my stamps. Don’t always use them but good to keep on hand.

Beautiful shaped card with great colors and you do amazing things with your Silhouette. I would have no idea on how to use one and I am not going to try. I cannot afford any more gadgets. LOL Unless my Misti would need replacing that would be another matter.

Now that made me laugh. I feel the exact same way about my Silhouette. Especially that I shy away from dies, I cut them with the machine.

Beautiful! So wonderful for you that your Silhouette takes care of all of the cutting. I tried it once and hated it, so it went back. I stick to manual cutting with dies or scissors.

Thanks Lisa K. Good for you knowing your limitations. I do have to admit that it does have a learning curve. Much like most machines. I hate to think if I gave up on my first attempt without instruction on most all thinks mechanical. Lets see: driving, sewing, computer, Ultra sound machine for our mares.

Beautiful card! Love what you do with the Silhouette! Thinking I used computers so much during my work years, just avoid them now, even my Scan N Cut! Should get it out and try. You inspire me!
