Party for moms Birthday

Krafty Chicks: Sketch
Simon Says Monday: Party TIme
Make My Monday: Female Birthday

My mother doesn’t like that her birthday is in the dead of winter, so flowers make her feel even worse. Hope this bright red hits a happy note. I sprayed the white cs base with Dylusions black marble ink spray. Used that same spray to splatter the copy paper piece that had been used to mop up of the above mentioned spray from a stencil after it was sprayed for a different card bg. Next it got the Pixie spray when the copy paper was in the trash can and an other stencil got sprayed. Once I noticed it was looking so interesting, I pulled it out of the trash and sprinkled silver tinsel embossing powder over the adhesive spray and heat set it. The rest of the design is for the sketch challenge. I stamped in black the happy on vellum four times. Die cut the Birthday and heat set it with red embossing powder and layered that on white layering weight cs tag. Punched the silver stars out of my cheap silver ribbon and one in the lower right corner in black that got glossy accents.

  1. Bonnie, this is great and I’m sure it will make your mom happy. I love that you see something in your trash, pull it out and make something beautiful with it. That is creative genius!

  2. That gorgeous red birthday cut makes this card. Love you are punching your own embellishments from that glittery ribbon. You are so very clever. Happy Birthday to your Mom!
