Spring in Yellow & Pink

I had purchased some black foil to use in my Silhouette with the Foil Quill and had not opened the package that I got in the fall. As a remedy to that I used this svg image and the black foil on white cs. I added a small reveal to the foiled layer and then created a much larger reveal for the mat layer. Using the stencil set I sponged ink for wreath colors and added black modeling paste for the details on the last layer stencil. Once dry I glued on yellow prills to the flower centers. For the mat layer I first sponged it pink but was not happy with that so I added white acrylic paint in a white wash to the whole mat layer. Still not right I added white modeling paste through a geometric stencil. Still not the look I was going for I swiped white ink pad over the top then heat set white embossing powder and sponged pink ink on the outer most edges SUCCESS. Once these two layers were attached to a white cs base I added the gold foiled sentiment from my stash (I made a bunch up on a rainy day last week).

Thanks for sharing your time with me, now I am sharing this with:
