The Sisterhood of Crafters Challenge theme is
BUNNIES and/or CHICKS
The image is from a digi found on the internet using the search “coloring book chick”. The result is tons of free images to pick the perfect chick. Resized using Silhouette software to fit this A2 card. Printed on white copy paper and water colored with shimmer paints. Added marker highlights. Printed another image that I water colored the whole image with yellow shimmer then used a mandala stencil with white modeling paste then fussy cut the body and attached. While trimming mat layer of green I had some very thin strips that I decided to attach as grass. Best to leave sentiment to the inside for this very CAS creation.

Sweet and adorable. The stenciling with paste of the chick’s body is such an eye catching technique as is the added grass.
