Pink Bird on Vellum

I have vellum but don’t use it much especially to run through a ef. After getting the bg added to the vellum I rubbed with a small dauber some gold stencil butter. The piece was mounted on white cs that I had sponged with pink ink. I used my Xyron machine to add sticky to the back of the entire piece of vellum. Added the white Silhouette cut bough and textured the bird with an ef then sponged on pink ink and gold stencil butter. Sentiment are pre-printed from a file on to white sticker paper and the check strip is the same treatment. Added the pink ribbon and some pink rhinestone.

Thanks for sharing your time with me, now I am sharing this with:

Shopping our Stash: You’re so Sweet I know they are looking for sweet tooth kind of sweet but I thought my bird turned out very sweet. Plus the color of the ink is actually called Bubblegum, now that can be sweet, too.

  1. Pretty! I like the tip of running the vellum through the Xyron. I was watching an older video today and the presenter sewed the vellum to her cardstock. I basically just glue and add the adhesive.

  2. Clever to emboss the vellum layer. The pink and gold butter is a great combo. On smaller vellum pieces I cut two and use a glue stick to adhere to each other kind of like the xyron runner. Awesome card.

  4. Hello my friend … just to let you know, WordPress is giving me fits and I can’t just click on your challenge entry any more to come visit and comment. I just figured out how to follow you and hopefully it will notify me so I can come to visit but if I disappear on you, that is the reason why. Not sure why it keeps telling me I don’t have a WordPress account because obviously I do! Ugh
