I knew I wanted to use light blue, medium blue and turquoise and that my stencil butters were two of the colors but that was as far as I was getting in my thought process. Then I remembered another challenge required numbers so I pulled out a clock stencil and used the stencil butters. The image was good but too much white for the look I had in mind so while the butter was still moist on the stencil I sprayed it with water and pushed it into white copy paper. Now mind you the numbers are now backwards, so I got the thought to use this stamp sentiment as the focal image. Like looking in the rear view mirror to see this bg image. After sponging the second blue along the edges I mounted the piece on white cs base.
Below are the other bg pieces that were all part of this stencil time. They will get used some how when the mood happens.

Thanks for sharing your time with me, now I am sharing this with:
I like the blues. The clock images are so muted, I didn’t notice they were backwards. Card looks great! I like your left-over pieces.

Thanks Lisa, a bit overthought for such a pretty bg that was not the original intention. Sometimes it is fun to just keep going.

Again, your playing with the background pays off. Perfect background for that great sentiment. I never would have noticed the numbers on the clock being backwards.

Thanks Gerry, Terry really likes that sentiment too. He has already used the card to send to one of his buddies. They are more hunting/shooting buddies however.

Bonnie, I love your thought process as you create your cards… backward numbers didn’t even notice… very pretty card.

THanks Suzanne, pretty sure if I had not been the one to pull the stenciled piece I would have not have noticed the numbers backwards either.
