I came across this smooched bg piece with gold, smoke gray and blue in my stash and knew it would make a great base for fall. The leaves were stamped in black ink as was the sentiment. For the focal leaf, I cut the image with Silhouette in sticker paper and rubbed Gilding Flakes then stamped in clear ink and heat set black embossing powder. Before attaching leaf I layered piece with white cs then dry embossed with burlap (real burlap not an ef). Layered sentiment strip then mounted all on green metallic cs. Used my score board to crimp the edges of the base.
Thanks for sharing your time with me, now I am sharing this with:
Very beautiful card – love how you embossed with the burlap – will give that a try.

What a lovely color you achieved for your background. The skeleton leaves with the touches of gold and your embossed burlap layer made another gorgeous card.

What a lovely fall card. It’s so fun that you use real burlap and so many real items to create, rather than just what the industry comes up with.
