Gold + Pink = Orange

When the challenge was to use pink, I wanted to try the technique of black ice but with pink ink. Used gold sticker paper to smeared the ink pad in hot pink across. With ink still wet I stamped the leaves in pink then smeared the ink inside of each leaf with a dry paint brush. Ink was still wet so did not have to add versa mark to dust with clear embossing powder and heat set. With the stamps still in the stamping platform I re-stamped with black ink. Trimmed to fit mat layer in black cs that was mounted on white cs base that got splatters in yellow, pink and black. Sentiment is homemade strip using white sticker paper that was created on Silhouette then mounted on white cs and popped up. I really was going for a pink but the orange works too.

Thanks for sharing your time with me, now I am sharing this with:

  1. This is beautiful, and I love how you altered the “recipe” to use a colored ink instead of the black. I also really like that you were able to skip the versamark step for your embossing. Saves time and ink and keeps versamark pad clean – lol! Such a pretty card!!
