Pumpkin Patch

I had dry embossed the lower portion of the colored cs thinking it would work for another project but just was not right. After finishing the other project this was left sitting on my work space. Decided to add the score lines and heat emboss the pumpkin patch in platinum. After adding some of the platinum with a versa mark pen to the scroll and then many layers of water colors and colored pencils in the monochromatic shades it got some splatter and then trimmed to fit cs base with a thin layer of black matting. The sentiment had also been hanging around on the work space waiting to be put away but seemed to fit with the colors and theme here. There were at least 5 times I thought I was done and then went back and added one more thing. Once it was the shading on the pumpkins, next I added black enamel pen in dots, then it was adding white colored pencil to areas in the scroll and then white splatter.

Thanks for sharing your time with me now I am sharing this with:

  1. Oh, Bonnie, this is just STUNNING!!! That platinum heat embossing, even on the dry embossed bit, is so fabulous, and the splatter is the perfect final touch. Lots of wonderful work here, and great take on the challenge, thanks so much for playing along over at Can You Handle the Pressure. Hope to see you back again soon!
