Winters Grip

We still have the white stuff in piles from the storms in early January and 8″ more inches predicted for the coming week. I guess it is not too late to create with snowflakes. The circle was created by using my wet finger to wet the rim of a juice glass that I dabbed in blue shimmer flakes then place it on white text vellum. Added the tiniest of water spritz to get the color to activate but not move much. Once dry I stamped the swirl in blue ink then versa mark and heat set tinsel. Using a odd circles stencil I sponged more blue ink around outer edge of the circle. The snowflake corners were cut on the Silhouette in white layering cs and attached. I sponged them lightly with the blue ink then added Stickles in Star Dust (my new favorite). The silver frame is achieved by rubbing just the edge of the paper along the versa mark pad then adding tinsel embossing powder then heat set. This was then mounted on white cs base. Sentiment was created on the SIlhouette then mounted on white mat layer then attached.

Thanks for sharing your time with me, now I am sharing this with:

  1. Bonnie your design is so creative! I love how you made your circle and the snowflake corner overlays and sparkle make for a lovely frost-inspired card. Thanks for playing along with my board over at TicTacToe this week!
