Winter is still here

It is time for me to start dusting off the spring stuff cuz I am about done with winter. This stamp has the three tulips which I stamped in my MISTI then turned the paper. Not in a jig but rather random positions on 90°. After using water colors for the focal tulip, I stamped sentiment in foiling ink then heat set gold. Did not take very well so I over stamped in black ink. Used gold sticker paper for mat layer and all is on white cs base. Don’t get me wrong, I love the look of foiling, it is just not for me so the added shimmer comes for gold sticker paper.

Thanks for sharing your time with me and now I am sharing this with:

TFJB: Out Old In New Winter is old news and spring is new.

Mix It Up: Foiling: ATG + Optional Foiling

Try it on Tuesday: In with the New The liquid used to stamp with then heat foil is new. Did not work well for me so won’t get used much.

  1. What a beautiful piece Bonnie. I love how you stamped the tulip so many times without adding color to them. It is very striking. I hope your new year is going well. And thanks for sharing with us at Try It on Tuesday. Hugs-Erika

  2. What a beautiful color to pop for Spring! I agree; winter is feeling so old already, even here in Florida. I’m wishing for winter rains can leave now, and bring out the sun again!!
That single tulip is so inspirational! Thanks for joining us over at The Funkie Junkie Boutique!
