The pp was laying on my work surface from the previous project. This focal image was created by using brayer over ink pad to gel press then placed stencil and brayer same color again. Removed the stencil and took first print with white copy paper text vellum. Trimmed by hand into an oval, rubbed edges with light gray ink pad then stamped sentiment in dark gray. Layered up all the pieces then splattered with dark brown water color. Once it was all done I was not impressed with the dark gray strip under the image so I added stripes in white and black pencil and stamped scrolls in the dark gray ink then added gems. Much better.
Thanks for sharing your time with me and now I am sharing this with:
As You Like It: Dies versus Stencils Of course I pick stencils, every-time. They are so versatile: Dry emboss, heat emboss, mono print.
Alphabet: Q is fro Quadruple Four riders
Another amazing mixed media project. The frame and setting off the stenciled image with the white really brought out the horse
