Time for Fall

As You Like it Challenge asked the question “Favorite Season: Autumn or Winter & why?” I am all in on Fall because it is my favorite season. That makes creating much easier using the colors, textures and themes that fit Fall. Here I made the black paper with black modeling paste smeared with credit card on white copy paper text vellum and allowed to dry. Heat embossed in Tinsel the image and sentiment. I am loving this paper because it has a chalk like finish that is very flat plus it takes all kinds of mixed media very well. Colored the image with stencil butter using a paint brush then added white gel pen accents. Mounted on copy paper with light purple marker colored edges then on the gray check pp. All is on a white cs base in the 5×7 format.

Thanks for sharing your time with me and now I am sharing this with:

  1. Lovely card! Your pumpkins are lovely with the sunflower in front. Autumn is a favorite season for me also. I have many Autumn stamp sets and not enough time to really use them.

  2. A truly bootiful card! Perfect for fall and halloween. The pumpkins and sunflower on that black background is so dramatic. You always seem to add just the right touches to finish your cards.
