Watercolor through a Stencil

The focal image is on the inside of this card with the hand cut window and die cut frame on the front. I added a layering weight cs in white to the front inside panel that is colored with black marker to highlight the dot frame. My image piece is the other half of a previous project of monoprint with stencil and blue oxide spray. I placed the stencil back down and used water colors and a wet brush to color the image. Sentiment strip was printed on sticker paper and attached on the inside of this creation.

Thanks for sharing your time with me and now I am sharing this with:

  1. Beautiful. Your sunflowers are so vibrant and real. I like the design with the window on the card front. It’s an extra surprise for the recipient. Your sunflowers will bloom year round.

  4. Bonnie I love this card – the loose style of the flower painting is so perfectly framed with your die cut border. And I love where you’ve placed the sentiment so it is only partially visible when closed. Thank you for joining us at The Funkie Junkie Boutique blog x
