New to me

The good gals over at Sweet Stampin want us to use something new. There was a new technique I wanted to give a whirl. It is all about using two different stencils. For this creation I used the leaf and berries stencil with this piece of copy paper as the mop up side of the sandwich mentioned in a previous post. This left the open part of the stencil open on the white cs. Once dry I placed the same stencil back down and then layered a varied sized circle stencil on top of that. I then pressed with spatula some black modeling paste which created an interesting pattern in the leaves. Used purple water color through the berries part of the stencil. I cut the oval window by hand and layered several pre-cut leaves and berries from the Silhouette in white cs. The hello is the surface protector when I colored a white Silhouette cut die black with modeling paste and had white cs as surface protector. Sentiment strip is stamped in black and hand cut. All is mounted on white cs base with focal image popped up with fun foam. Added some sequins.

Challenge I am sharing this with

Sweet Stampin: New

Ok here is the third piece from my play with using one stencil three ways. It was actually the first creation. I put clear glossy paste through leaves and berries on white cs. Lifted stencil to clean and allow piece to dry. Once dry I placed the clean and dry stencil back down and added the sprinkles of green color burst then spritzed with water. Lifted the stencil and then place it on top of copy paper then another piece of copy paper on top of wet stencil and pressed. This gave me the pieces in the above post and the one from the other day.

For this one, I sponged the honey mustard color because the white was too stark. Hand cut the aperture to match the Silhouette cut stars and tree whirl. Mounted this on mustard color cs with Silhouette cut sentiments on green fun foam.
