Birthday Butterfly

There was some leftover scraps of a waterproof label paper on my work space. I use the paper to make return labels for my homemade envelopes. It was an idea to die cut the label paper with the sticky side up, stamp on the sticky side with ink, then color with Copics and then cover the surface with glitter. The butterfly is the result of this experiment. Used leftovers of pp for layering and the sentiment was cut on the Silhouette on white cs with a design I made up. Scallop edge is copy paper cut with punch. All was mounted on white card base.

  2. Oh I had to chuckle at Kathy’s comment. That Bonnie brain sure works hard and the way you gave label paper a different use is inspired. Result is true beauty and I’m sure that butterfly really sparkles in real life.
