Use GREEN at The Sisterhood

The Sisterhood of Crafters Challenge  theme is

Green

Sometimes I don’t use my pp enough. For this one I pulled a green for the base layer and stamped in a darker green some ferns. Next is some dots then the plaid pp. All are matted on copy paper with pink marker along the edges. To make my card base I cut the cut out the size of an A2 using the Silhouette and white cs, but the rest of the pieces are made square. Bird, doily, greenery and focal image were all cut on the Silhouette. Bird got coated with black gesso and image is from freebies at The Hunger JPEG. Feathers are from hunting session with our Pointing Black Lab “Sammy” and they are Chucker. Sentiment and gems are from my stash. All are mounted on a square white cs base.

  1. WOW! There’s a lot going on here and you’ve tied it together so well. Love all the PP you’ve used. That little birdie is so sweet.

  2. Beautiful unique card. I love the layers and combination of patterns plus all of the extras from the topper to the feather. Amazing. Our first dog was a Sammie, a wild Irish Setter who was in puppy mode for 7 years!!!

  3. Such a pretty card! I love the gold with the turquoise and the stencilled background with the die cut foreground is beautiful 😊. Thanks so much for joining us as Guest Designer at Try it on Tuesday and so sorry that I’m so late, I was in Venice when the post went live and with being away from the hotel all day I forgot to pop by. Hugs, Jo x
