More falling leaves

I had these leaves leftover from the previous project so I sponged orange and purple ink on the backs arranged them on a bg piece with trees stamped along with sentiment in brown ink. Mounted on plaid pp that is on colored pp with wood grain embossing. Added the Silhouette cut happy along white splatter. Once mounted on white cs base I added water color pens dots on trees for leaves. Once all put together I did not like the look of the leaves so I used a gold gel pen to color the tops. It did not want to stick to the white embossing so the outline and stitching lines still shine through. Now it is done.

Thanks for sharing your time with me, now I am sharing this with:

  1. This is fabulous, Bonnie. I love the background stamping for those gorgeous leaves. The combination of the cut and stamped sentiment is striking. It looks like the scripty birthday was written on the ground.

  2. WOW, those leaves are beautiful, so glad you were able to use them from your stash. So often I put stuff in my stash but then forget about it… love that you added the gold. Would love you to share with us at Double Trouble “Punch It Out” (using punches/dies)… you can get our link from our partner for this challenge at Use Your Stuff. Check out Thing 1 for another chance at our random draw too.
