Sis’s anniversary

I know this is a little odd of an anniversary but I will explain that latter. For the making of the card: I smooched black distress oxide spray on glass mat to a white layering weight cs. I then dry embossed a 3D folder and then rubbed it with white ink pad and added pearl white embossing powder then heat set. Splattered with white paint then mounted on black copy paper with edges colored with black sharpie. All is mounted on white cs base. Sentiment was stamped on black cs then heat set in white. Butterfly was a metal freebie when I ordered crafting supplies. It was quite bronze so I smooched it into a versa mark pad and added the pearl white embossing powder then heat set. Sure hope the glue holds.

This is for my sis that served as comptroller during the Afghan war at Bagdad. Her husband is an engineer that spent his career designing nuclear fueled tanks. They are both retired now but still enjoy many an adventure.

Thanks for sharing your time with me and now I am sharing this with:
