Messy Foiling

I have recently taken up the habit of linking to my neighbors in the galleries I have posted in to say hi and spread some sunshine on their projects. One new friend, I met this way, commented that she had been using a sponge with Mod Podge on it to stamp with then heat foil. It really does work, not perfect but fun to play and does add foiling. Here my foiling left small dots all over the bg. Not sure why but I decided to embrace the messiness of it all. Once I had water colored the images I used a damp rag to smear the colors around. Added my sentiment strip and some sequins for bling then mounted on white cs base.

I am sharing this with

  1. I like that stamp. I will have to try messing with it too on air dry clay…mod podge is a lot of fun. I will let you know how it turns out.
    You are sunshine!

  2. It’s always fun to find new ways to do things! Your card is great and I like the foil “splatters”. It’s not messy, it has character! It really isn’t messy.
