Single Flower for Svanna Lynn

Some friends just welcomed their new daughter into this world so we needed to send them a card. I used some pp that was dry embossed then used brayer and gold stencil butter to highlight design. Because the paper was so thin, the first time I embossed it there was way too much cracking. So this time I ran the paper through Xyron first then dry embossed. It worked great, no spider webs of adhesive and no cracking plus I could peel back the backing paper and the panel was easily attached to a mini slimline white cs base. The flower was designed and cut with the Silhouette on white cs. Color was added first with pan pastels then some sponging with ink and finally some white gel pen. After spraying with fixative I curled the edges and stacked up the layers then attached to front panel. Sentiment was stamped in black ink on white cs that was trimmed down then sponged with orange ink and attached.

Thanks for sharing your time with me, now I am sharing this with:

If you Give a Crafter a Cookie: Orange
