I have had all my Valentine cards done for a while now so the challenge for PINK was time to play. My bg piece starts as white cs that I added white modeling paste through stencil. Once dry I re-positioned the stencil back in place, added dauber of clear ink then heat embossed sticky powder. Next was smeared the Gilding Flakes. After that came the stencil that was shifted to the right and then pink stencil butter was added with palette knife. As soon as that dried I placed the stencil back in place and added the final smearing of stencil butter with stencil brush just to fade the image out. Last coat was to cover the whole piece with stencil butter treated as gilding wax (you know, dampen flat dauber with white glue and water then add stencil butter and smear). I created sentiment strip out of a strip of vellum that I heat set black embossing powder then hand painted the bud with stencil butter and white gel pen for leaves. Mounted on black cs mat layer then on white cs base. Added a few gems for added sparkle. Below are the products I used on this one.

Thanks for sharing your time with me, now I am sharing this with:

Thanks Lisa, the depth of the modeling paste worked like I wanted but the sticky paste did not. Oh well was fun to see what happened.

WOW!! Absolutely gorgeous with that background. You do have knack for outdoing yourself.

To funny Gerry, never thought of my curiosity and never ending desire to try something as outdoing myself. But you are probably correct.

No problem, you do what you have time, interest and energy for. We had way more snow than normal, so i spent long hours in the craft room in January.
