I had been playing with the colors for Color My Heart of Glacier, Capri and Avocado but was lacking in direction till the great gals at Can You Handle the Pressure came up with the challenge of Borders. I cut the white thin border cs and attached to white cs base. I then cut the two bg pieces to fit and then added the light blue cs strips for another border. Sentiments and wreath were cut on the Silhouette. Wreath is an outline of a stamp and sentiment I created from a cursive font and mat layer. The bg in blues is the press I took off of a stencil that I had used stencil butters and was just using up the leftover butter. My green bg is white cs that got smeared with green stencil butter and a round dauber that was moist and dipped in white glue. Once dry I used a branches and berries ef. Both pieces got sponged with corresponding color of ink on a brush dauber that added depth and more color.
Thanks for sharing your time with me, now I am sharing this with:

Thanks Lisa, I was fortunate that the photo shows the sentiment so well. White on white can be tricky.

This is lovely. Having the white wreath and sentiment is great against your colorful and textured background pieces. The thin borders are fun.

Thanks Golda, when I cut the wreath out I was intending on coloring it or stamping in black but the white was great just the way it was.
