Color Dare with Dots

I used the blue and purple inks to sponge the dots on the bg through a stencil then added pink and more blue by sponging around edges then drew black lines around edges with sharpie. Had a scrap of purple shiny paper the I dry embossed with dotted swiss ef. Butterflies and tags were cut on the Silhouette. Designs on butterflies and flower on tag were stamped in black ink from larger stamps. Used water colors to color flower. As I was arranging everything I decided to add silver edge around purple piece and a mat layer in pink cs. The silver frame is just thin strips I cut then attached each side separately once everything else was attached.

Thanks for sharing your time with me, now I am sharing this with:

  1. Always creative and your layers never look busy or forced but natural and graceful. Love the stenciled background and your color choices. Gorgeous butterflies and details.

    1. Thanks Lisa, sometimes feels like I should have stopped a few steps sooner after it is all done but then It is always a in the moment thing when creating.
