One more Christmas

I keep thinking I am done with Christmas cards and then I need one more. For this bg I used a palette knife and three shades in green of Stencil Butters. Shifted leaves and berries stencil with black modeling paste not worrying about placement as much a general coverage. Colored in berries with red marker and a few leaves with a green Posca pen. Die cut one edge for small squares with a frame die then trimmed rest to size and mounted on white cs base. Sentiment is heat set gold on red cs and white snowflakes were cut on Silhouette. I got the bg inspiration here.

  1. Is anyone ever done with Christmas cards. Lollll this is really pretty. Where do get the stencil butters? john is almost finished rebuilding my work area and I can start playing again. I can’t believe how much I don’t remember how to do. Good thing there’s YouTube. We were going to do it the first week of Jan but we decided last minute.

    1. I get them at TCW (The Crafters Workshop). They are a small company that have very select lines. Pretty much anything from them is great, especially stencils, modeling paste and gesso’s.

  2. Isn’t there always just one more card to make? The background is dramatic and amazing and then your eye gets drawn to the large snowflake and everything seems to balance out perfectly.
