At the Color Dare Challenge they have a new challenge each week but each one last two weeks, so this is the next in their line up. I choice the peach+soft yellow+gray/green. I have this plaid stamp and used that and the gray/green ink pad to get this rolling. Once the ink dried I stamped again in clear ink then heat set in clear gloss embossing powder for some shine. Added the yellow, peach, and black stripes in markers and a straight edge then splatters in the platinum modeling paste. Mounted that on copy paper cut slightly larger and edges colored with black marker. Die cut foliage in black cs and smeared with pinky finger dipped in platinum modeling paste. Peach layer cs was sponged with gray/green ink through huge circle stencil that I also smeared with platinum modeling paste then ran my color along the edges before cleaning finger. Sentiment was created and cut on Silhouette in white cs and colored base with marker in yellow then attached. All was mounted on white cs base. Can not say I am overly pleased with my prompted color combos but I am trying to think about using each of the colors in different ways for each layer and letting the free neutrals colors tie things together.

Your foliage technique really looks great against the plaid and love the distressed look of the other background panel. Very pretty card. Thanks for sharing with us at Color Dare.

Bonnie this is a beautiful card! I love the pop of yellow sentiment over the dark flowers.

Thanks for the sweet comment. Now that I look at the photo the yellow is what helps this make any sense. IRL it is not so jumbled.
