With Halloween over, the next step is to use the orange + black for a Thanksgiving creation. I painted white copy paper with black gesso then stamped and heat set the leaves and pumpkins with platinum embossing powder. Colored with pretty much everything I’ve got including but not limited to: water colors, markers, Posca paint pens, more black gesso, gouache mixed with shimmer paints, metallic pens, two kinds of glaze and then heat set again. Still not my favorite but with the plaid pp as a mat layer it is growing on me.
Thanks for sharing your time me, now I am sharing this with:

What is not to love on this one? Everything pops beautifully off of your black background. Great peek of plaid on your border, too.

That is a LOT of stuff to color with, but it turned out really pretty. That plaid edge is beautiful to make the panel stand out.

The mixture of mediums on the pumpkins makes for a damp glisten which is just fabulous. Thanks for sharing with us at Use Your Stuff
