My favorite of most things is what is on my plate at the moment. For this one, it is jade, yellow and brown. I created the bg with ink smooching in a turquoise ink pad. Added splatter in the other colors. Heat set the stamped image on to the Silhouette cut mat layer in brown embossing powder then water colored the image with jade and yellow. Attached only at the centers of the flowers to the bg. Used scraps of bg to stamp and heat set in brown the sentiment that was then popped up with foam tape. All is mounted on white cs base.
It sure makes embossing easy with splattered bg because the stray brown specks become part of the splatter.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this!! The colors you used are gorgeous, and I love the clean feel you achieved with the white “mat” on your flower/leaf panel. Beautiful!

Thanks Lisa, now I am thinking I need to cut back on the offset a touch. I used .08 but maybe .06 would still be easy to stamp but just not quite so much white. Your thoughts?

I actually love the larger white border on this particular design. Your stamped image stands out beautifully against your inked background because of the larger white offset/border.

Bonnie, beautiful card and though I’ll usually use a thinner border, with this particular image and the white used in your background, it is perfect.
