Colorful Horns

I got this fun stamp from Pink Ink called Buffalo Jill at DelBellos sale. Colored first with water colors in shimmer then added shading with markers or white gel pen. Fern leaves are sponged with stencil and green ink. When I water colored on this white text vellum it warped quite a bit so I used an embossing folder to help smooth it out plus add texture. Ended up with a wrinkle across her nose but used it anyway. Sentiment was stamped in black ink then fussy cut and attached. All was mounted on black cs mat layer then white cs base.

Thanks for sharing your time with me, now I am sharing this with:

  1. Love your buffalo and the colorful horns as well as the pops of color on your flowers bring the theme together. So clever to run through an ambossing folder and add the little extra shading. I actually like the wrinkle on Buffalo Jills nose. It shows her personality.

  2. This is so much fun! Love the colorful horns and that you made it your own by adding the leaves and colors. You are an extremely talented artist. Smart way to deal with the buckling, too.
