Blue Butterflies

I needed a guy kind of get well, so this dry embossed butterfly ef was run through on a blue pp that I created last year with water color and a very wet stencil. On the de-boss side I added shimmer with Dragonfly Glaze and then blue water color in the recesses the butterflies and dots created. Added blue pan pastels with stencil brush around edges to create center interest. Once I had cut some white butterflies in varying sizes I used the outlines as stencils and sponged black in the centers then added the white die cuts. Stamped the sentiment in black ink and mounted on white cs base. I was quite amazed how well the sentiment stamped on the embossed piece.

Thanks for sharing you time with me, now I am sharing this with:

  1. This card is fantastic and so artsy and eclectic. I just love all that is going on with the movement of color, embossing… I love the white frame around the edges. Fabulous. Thanks for playing with us at Can You Handle The Pressure?.
