I had been wanting to enter the Sweet Stampin Challenge of using book print. The book page layer is a page out of a paperback novel that I scanned then printed in sepia tones. Tore edges then attached with glossy gel medium to a gold and black bg floral piece I made last year. Die cut the label then stamped sentiment in black. Mounted on white cs base then added punched gold dots
Thanks for sharing your time with me, now I am shring this with:
A beautiful card, such a lovely design and great use of the book print. Thanks for joining in at Sweet Stampin’ Challenges.

I like how you scanned the text and didn’t remove it from the book. Lovely with the gold.

Love your frame with the aged book page…..very mixed media Tim Holtz vibe. Looks like you should frame this and put it on a wall. Very cool, Bonnie.

What a beautiful card, I love how you made use of the bookpage, and how it shines from the black background. The label is such a great centerpiece, too, and it goes well with the abstract flowers on the sides. Thanks for joining the Alphabet challenge.

Ha! Even more you teach me. I hadn’t thought to scan a book page. That is SO MUCH SMARTER than taking a book apart. Beautiful card and thanks for the knowledge.
