Thank You during loss

We loss my dad this week. He was 90 and fell over dead on the street where he lived all his life right after getting his hair cut. Mom drove him there. It was a life well lived, but he will be missed. Mom asked that I make her a dozen or so cards to send to all the great people that helped her through this time of loss. This is my prototype. The swirls are stamped on white cs with clear embossing ink then heat set in silver. I added this to a light turquoise cs that is then mounted on white cs base. The sentiment tag is moms words printed on copy paper then I added the thanks with a mat layer. This was created on the Silhouette that I cut out of white cs. Sponged the mat layer in color to match the other mat layer then mounted the two together and then to the top of the card.

  3. How very sad for you to lose your father and what a shock to lose him in that way. It is always a challenge when a parent dies, but making these cards will help I am sure, and your Mum will be very grateful. I love the silver embossing and how you have positioned it diagonally on the card. It is perfect for the occasion. Thanks for sharing it with us at we love stamping this month xx
