So fun to watch the birds right now, they are all so busy checking out each other and places to nest. This started with the Silhouette cut birds in white cs that I painted with black gesso. I had been collecting birds from free digis for a silhouette file so they would be available in various posses and could be sized to fit. The bg is from my stash and I would guess that I sprayed shimmer spray in green and yellow then picked up with brayer to gel press for a print. The leaves and branches was stamped in black ink and then the birds were popped up with foam tape. Sentiment strip was created on Silhouette then printed on white sticker paper. Yellow strip is cs with a strip of b&w washi tape added. Black boarder was created with straight edge and permanent black marker. All is mounted on white cs base. Of course Terry wanted the birds to have eyes so used a white gel pen. Also added white circles around edges with stencil and white ink pad to sponge. Lovely! I love to watch the birds. It got a bit colder, so they are not out as much. Hopefully it will warm again and we will see and hear them more.

The Birdies are all busy here as well, Spring has arrived, your birds are very striking but you say you cut them on the Silhouette, we are a stamping challenge and do ask that the focal element is stamped as explained on our challenge posts. Thanks for sharing though.

This is a wonderful card! Those birds are great with the different directions. I’m glad Terry want the birds to have eyes, as that is a nice touch.
