This is a Stamp Buddies birthday, which is very unique for a birthday card, but then so is she. This bg is glossy photo paper with smooched shimmer paints through a leaf stencil. The stencil part got kind of lost but the colors are intense. I stamped the image and sentiment in black ink then used marker to color. Once trimmed to size, I drew black marker along the edges for a fine line boarder then mounted on white cs base.

This is a striking card and I can imagine how gorgeous it is with the light shining on the shimmer paints. The background (stenciled) leaves that are there, but not stark is beautiful.

Beautiful card and a nice take on the sketch challenge. I love your colour choice and can imagine the shimmer is much greater in person. The black pen to the edge is a subtle touch that makes it pop too. Love it! Thanks for sharing at HSS.
