Blue & Pink

When I saw this color challenge at Hand Stamp Sentiments I knew it was time to play with my shimmer colors in pots. Using a fat water brush I picked up the blue and smeared some on a acetate sheet then kissed the color on a piece of white copy paper text vellum. Did the same with the pink but added some splatters from the wet brush. Once dry added clear Gloss Gel Medium through a dot stencil that I let dry overnight. This a.m. I used laminator and a pink foil sheet over the dots. Stamped the wreath in black ink as well as the sentiment, then used paint pots to color some of the leaves pink or blue. My white word was Silhouette cut then attached. Used glue pen to dot along the wreath then added glitter. Mounted on white cs base.

This was going to be an A2 size piece but when I got the dots foiled I was not impressed with the bg as a whole. Once cut in half, I used each piece to make two cards in note size.

Thanks for sharing you time with me, now I am sharing this with:

  2. You got 2 beautiful cards out of one amazing piece. It’s funny how sometimes things just seem off until we look at it in a different size, or from a different angle. I love all the details you add to things to make them amazing.
