Just when I thought I had discovered all the craft shopping sites I could possible want I found my new favorite. They offer the England based Lavina stamps on this side of the pond. They also have a monthly challenge using said stamps. Because I had printed several of my poppy digis for the previous project and they went un-used, I took this one and added the reverse mask then sponged in the pink circle. Shimmer paints in deep pink (aka red) to color the poppy then added white gel pen accents. Mounted on heavy cs smaller than this image piece and ran that through embossing machine to create frame. Mounted on white cs base.
One of the items I have invested in this new year is pan pastels. The white came in handy here where the pink sponging got splotchy. I could smear the medium and fade the colors to a more pleasing bg.
Thanks for sharing your time with me, now I am sharing this with:
Your flowers are lovely! I like the last card also. I have pastels that I haven’t used from Stampin’Up. I think they are more like chalk, though. I do like your circle behind the poppy as it looks neat and tidy.

You might want to check out the Sofft foam covers, they make the pastels like butter. I add Distress Glaze to lock all the colors.

Lovely…the soft pink glow around your tall straight poppy really makes quite the statement. Gorgeous CAS card and nothing else needed on the front.
