I had been coloring this delightful digi Christmas Elf from The Paper Shelter in water colors and markers. Was not sure where it was going then I asked myself if I could cut the sentiment die out of fun foam. Well, yes you can. The bg is red stencil butter smeared on glass mat, spritzed with water then mopped up on white copy paper. Used a punch on the image corners and adhered all on white cs base of a mini slimline. Added rhinestones in places and some glossy accents to bows and eyes.
Tip: To get the adhesive to the foam I shaped the cut outs on glass mat and placed purple tape on top. Ran that through sticker maker then removed the purple tape. Removed the words from the backing paper and placed on card. Took a little fussing but not too bad. Well worth the effort to get the effect of dimension without bulk.
Thanks for sharing your time with me and now I am sharing this with:
Inspired by Challenge: Christmas Shoes Poor elf has lost his shoes and this bear doesn’t have any.
Your foam kept its shape. I think my foam gets stretched quite a bit. Thanks for the tip on adding the tape to run it through your Xyron. Cute card.

Adorable image for your red background. Your fun foam sentiment looks great. I like the curved effect. My fun foam seems to stretch out of shape or get stuck in the die. Lol

Cute card. I like how the fun foam turned out. I don’t think I have any, but it would certainly be worth getting to give this technique a try. It’s a great way to add dimension.
