Proper Pumpkin

I set out to create a proper pumpkin with this Silhouette cut file that I adapted to a shaped card, then cut out the shadow design. But the base was just not saying orange to me so I sprayed it with blue oxide spray then layered on the white details plus added a few more that were in my extra greenery file plus some white gel pen details. For the sentiment I cut the stencil out of white layering weight cs on the Silhouette then placed that on white tissue paper and added green stencil butter. Once dry I brushed water around the edges and pulled away the extra tissue. Used glue to attach to the front of the card. Splattered with thinned down green stencil butter loaded on a fan brush then tapped off like paint for splatter. For the inside I used some pp that I fussy cut to fit. Using some more of the stencil on white tissue paper I used blue stencil butter then trimmed down and attached. The tissue shows much more in the photo than it does on the actual card. Also added the same green splatter as the front

Thanks for sharing your time with me today and now I am sharing this with:

  1. I love the different ways you get such fun, textured looks. Great job on this beautifully shaped card. Your blue and white pumpkin is a beauty and definitely stands out in a world of orange pumpkins.
