Dry Emboss Real Fig Leaf

Our fig bush is still quite green, so the dry embossing of one leaf on to white copy paper text vellum produced this image. It is amazing that the print is not green from the leaf! I added water colors made from color burst and perfect pearls. The veins were not showing much so I used the Versa Mark pen and then clear hear embossed. The sentiment is also heat embossed with clear on the plum cs. After adding gold water color splatter this was mounted on white cs base.

  9. Your fig print looks amazing.
    I intended to take a walk later this week to see if I can pick some fresh figs and wild blackberries. And now I will also make sure to pick a fig leaf as well.
