Use Stencil to Stamp

The dinner party was a success and now we need to send a thank you. To create the blue bg I used my favorite stencil, turned into a stamp, I had sprayed the blue oxide through the stencil onto the flap of an envelope so there was residual on the stencil. By placing the wet side down onto some white copy paper text vellum it stamped this monoprint. After cleaning the stencil and allowing the bg to dry, I placed the stencil back down and added the fall colors with bristled dauber then added some details with markers. The block pp is printed on the copier then a few block colored in the markers. Layered the pp and image on mini slimline white cs. Sentiment is a single stamp that I cut apart. Stamped lower portion in white embossing powder on black and the upper portion in black embossing powder on white. Layered the pieces together then fussy cut the white to create boarder effect and attached.

  1. Another beauty showcasing that gorgeous sunflower stencil. The randomly colored blocks on the patterned paper was a wonderful design detail. Awesome and a WOW , too!!
