Sunflowers grow wild along the roadways here. Mine are made with a stencil and stencil butters on a piece of white copy paper text vellum. I added Elements Earth Textures to the centers with white glue then mounted on a piece of green shimmer cs. All was layered on white cs base in mini slimline. At first I was disappointed with my butters bleeding under then stencil but then, once I added the texture centers, it has a messy windblown look that I rather like.
Thanks for sharing your time with me and now I am sharing this with:
TGIF: Wild Side Get it: grow WILD on the SIDE of the road?
The sunflowers are so pretty! It must be a sight to see the wild ones. I see them in people’s yards here.

Bonnie, this is a great card! I really like your beautiful, dimensional sunflowers. Your butters must be quite thick. You have such beautiful shine on it.

Sunflowers are such cheery flowers. The bleeding doesn’t show at all and the flowers have a wonderful shine.
