I don’t have much black cs, especially anything that would water color very well, so I improvised. Using my white text vellum copy paper and a short bristle brush I applied a thin coat of black modeling paste and allowed to dry. Took about 10 minutes. I then stamped and heat set in white the flowers and sentiment. Using a small brush and white gouache I painted the areas I wanted color. Once that was dry I painted the petals pink and green on the stems with water colors. When this was dry I brushed on the flowers Wink of Stella for some shimmer. Glued Art Glimmer Elements in Redlands color, which is a combination of glitter and what looks like hard coffee grounds, to the tops of the flowers. Once I glued my trimmed focal piece on to a green cs base I dry embossed one edge with a swirl ef then mounted this on white cs base.
Thanks for sharing some of your time with me, now I am going to share this with:

So pretty and love your black cardstock. The green layer with the partial embossing is a great idea and balances the coneflowers.
