The card was a combination of several projects over the past two weeks. The bg was stamping with my new Christmas stamp with boughs and smooched in yellow and red oxide spray with sun masked then removed and sponged in yellow ink. Splatters in gold and white. Butterfly is a colored pencil class I took, fussy cut and wings rolled around paint brush handle and attached at body. Rubbed edges of piece in black ink and attached to white cs base. Envelope was masked then sponged in orange and yellow ink then stamped in black small boughs and butterfly. Wings of envelope butterfly were watercolor with oxide spray.
I purposely did not add sentiment. This is for my niece and she will love the hand written note on the inside wishing her the happiest birthday.
