Cherry Red

This bg is a pull off of the gel press of white copy paper with red oxide spray on mat then used brayer to get first layer. Using brayer again to add acrylic Dragonfly Glaze then took this lift. Sprinkled on color burst direct to paper in a bright red and spritzed with water and allowed to dry. Using circular stencil and brush dauber with cherry red ink pad for the next layer. Added thin coat of clear gesso to lock in everything thus far. Die cut was created on Silhouette as was the greenery in white cs. Sentiment is stamped in cherry red then heat set in clear gloss embossing powder. Rubbed edges with cherry red ink pad and attached to white cs base. The left of the piece was too boring and I was pretty sure I was not going to splatter or add black of any kind. So I placed a leaf stencil on top, daubed on clear embossing pad then heat set white gloss embossing powder. Now it is complete.
